NITRODEL DS

Overview :

NITRODEL DS contains Alpha-keto analogues and Essential Amino Acid tablets, beneficial in treatment of uraemia as they provide adequate amino acid while reducing the total nitrogen load; these analogues are converted to amino-acids through transamination by taking amino group from nonessential amino acids and thereby reducing cellular ammonia level. Nitrodel DS tablets help in delaying the progression Chronic Kidney Disease.  

Mode of Action :

Alpha Ketoanalogue in double strength (NITRODEL DS) operate by undergoing a process called transamination by taking nitrogen from some non-essential amino acids. This process decreases the formation of urea and prevents the accumulation of uremic toxins, thus improving kidney health.  

Indication :

NITRODEL DS is indicated to improve kidney health in patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease
